Myrthe van der Mark (b. 1989, the Netherlands) exposes personal endeavors, with a focus on how textual elements and visual fragments are integrated intoexhibitions and performances. She uses actions and objects to evoke direct, personal associations, thereby emphasizing the context in which the work is shown. Both present and absent components of the work explore and investigate various forms of communication.

She uses actions and objects to evoke direct, personal associations, thereby emphasizing the context in which the work is shown. Both present and absent components of the work explore and investigate various forms of communication. She had solo exhibitions at CC Strombeek (Strombeek), CC Binder (Puurs-Sint-Amands) and at Avee Gallery (Kortrijk). She showed her work at Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens (Deurle), Yokohama Museum of Art (Yokohama), Kunsthal Extra City (Antwerp), 10N Gallery (Brussels), Kunstencentrum STUK (Leuven), Vleeshal (Middelburg), M HKA (Antwerp), Mu.Zee (Ostend), and de Brakke Grond (Amsterdam). In 2025 she will a.o., take part in the programme of Publiek Park 2025 (Brussels/Meise), participate in a group exhibition at the Museum of Art and History (Brussels), have a residency at 019 (Ghent) and solo shows at Botanique (Brussels) and Gevaertsdreef 01 (Oudenaarde). She got nominated for the IKOB Feminist Art Prize 2025 , accompanied by a group exhibition (Eupen).
With her duo CMMC she presented at Museum M, Leuven; 019/SMAK, Publiek Park Ghent, M HKA Lodgers; Antwerp and they had a solo exhibition at IKOB Museum of Contemporary Art, Eupen.

In collaboration with Céline Mathieu, her artist duo CMMC performs rapidly altering emotions, text and long stretches of synchronised gestures.
